Principal's Message

Dear Families,

Congratulations for a job well done by our Middle School Orchestra and Chorus students at their performance this past weekend at the All-County Musical Festival. Unfortunately, I caught the flu bug and was unable to attend, but received many positive comments from parents who were there!

As I walk through the classrooms daily, I could not be more pleased with all that I see. Students are hard at work and engaged in their learning. It is wonderful to see the amount of independence that students develop in their learning, from the 3 year olds to the 8th graders. This would not be possible without our very talented staff and the strong support of the staff and parents in our school community. I encourage all parents to take opportunities to observe your child in the classroom. If you are interested in observing in the classroom, please set up a time and date with the classroom teacher.

If you have not handed in your 2012-2013 intent form, please remember to send it to school by tomorrow. The front office will be contacting all parents that have not handed in the intent forms. If you would like another copy of the intent form, it can be picked up in the front office.

Remember that on Friday, school dismisses two hours early (12:45 PM) and school is closed on Monday for Presidents’ Day.

Have a wonderful and extended weekend.

Cita
